Visible work on the South Lawn Project began this spring with the placement of construction trailers beside the B-1 parking lot and utility work near New Cabell Hall. During the summer, contractors will begin grading work on the site. Also, $52 million in cash and pledges have been raised towards the $61.2 million (NPV) in private support required for the project’s $105 million first phase.
