Eight Cavaliers go for gold
Current students and alumni represented four countries in the Summer Games.

If you just couldn’t fund a trip to Sydney this past September, chances are that one of your fellow Wahoos could give you a first-hand report, and maybe even a backstage glimpse, of the 2000 Summer Olympic Games. Eight Cavaliers — current students as well as recent alumni — represented four countries in the Summer Olympics, proving that our “Academical Village” is more than merely academic — and maybe even just a little more cosmopolitan than your ordinary village.
